As the Realtek chipset is not listed, I’d guess it is faulty.
There is no material that is knowingly illegal here. How can I enable my Realtek? Parport and Serial are not in yellow exclamation marks anymore but ParVdm now is. You’ll need to install the Realtech drivers from the manufacturers web-site, for Windows to see it – Link.
Windows 7 x86 SP1. As I’m out of ideas, I’d suggest you change it for a new one which is supplied with an XP driver. Aahh Sorry bhebhegirl, I didn’t follow the link through – Having just adio tried it, it seems to be another ‘rip-off’ site that wants you to pay I followed the link through to ‘ESS’ sound-card manufacturer and it appears they don’t even support the card any more, I couldn’t find any mention of it.
This happens on some chipsets.

The link on that link you gave me directs me to the drivermax download instead of the driver itself. HP only supplies drivers for the original onboard sound-chip.
